Event: a medical officer working at Makaising Primary Health Center located in Gandaki Rural Municipality-1, who had come to serve at the Tanglichok health post of Ward 2, was attacked during his duty as part of the doctor-at-home program run by the rural municipality. The health workers of the health center had stopped providing services in protest against the beating of the medical officer. The chief administrative officer of Gandaki Rural Municipality, said that efforts were being made to resolve the dispute through mutual discussion. He said that looking at the nature of the incident, it was found that there was a beating from both sides.
