• Relatives attacked a doctor after the death of a patient following excessive alcohol consumption.

10 March, 2011 (BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, Bharatpur)

• Doctors were attacked including a senior doctor.

20 May, 2011 (Soojung Hospital, Doti)

• The hospital was vandalized over a death of patient with myocardial infarction. The hospital was shut for few days including the emergency services.

• Medical superintendent of the hospital was attacked by the chairperson of the Hospital Development Committee.
